The 35mm prime focal length is the perfect lens for travel photography. In this video I share with you 5 reasons you should consider adding a 35mm lens to your camera kit. Travel photography isn't the only thing a 35mm prime lens is good for, either! It's one of my favourite focal lengths to use for portrait photography as well as wedding photography.
There are also SO many options out there for a 35mm lens. You have your high end and expensive options - currently, my favourite 35mm lens is the GM 35mm f1.4 that I use on my Sony A7III camera body. You also have more budget options such as the extremely popular Sigma 35mm f1.4 ART lens for Canon. There are also new 35mm lenses coming out all the time, the latest one I reviewed is the small and budget-friendly Samyang 35mm f1.8 on the Sony A7C.
