I took these photos in June of 2019, it was the last time I've travelled overseas from Australia since the pandemic started. At the time, Dan and I were staying with his family in Gdansk, Poland. We travelled to a few different places during the month we were there including Scotland to capture a wedding, a roadtrip to Austria and this little trip to Granada, Spain.
I have always wanted to visit Granada after seeing an episode about it on Parts Unknown. The winding pathways through colourful buildings, stairs going everywhere and the Alhambra were just as magical in real life as I thought they were going to be. Although here we are in 2022 and I've only now gotten around to editing these photos.
I edited my photos from Poland, Scotland and Austria in a timely matter haha. With these photos from Spain, it took me a little longer to get to than I wanted to. At the time of these travels I was using my Sony A7III camera body for photography and video. For video, I was vlogging our trips to share on my YouTube Channel. For those vlogs, I am using the Sony 28mm F2 which is a budget-friendly lens. I also used this lens for some photos. For my "main" photos such as portraits and landscape shots, I was still using my Canon lenses adapted to Sony. For this trip I brought along the Metabones IV adaptor and the Canon 35mm f1.4 II.
Since it's now 2022, I thought it's about time I edited these photos. I like having collections of photos on my blog, especially from my travels. Whenever I feel like looking back on a trip, I can take a look at those memories on my blog.
