photoshoot on a 14 year old camera | pentax K100D
For today’s photoshoot I thought it was time to clean off the dust of my first ever camera that I used to learn how to do photography on more than 10 years ago. I have the Pentax K100D which was a trusty little camera body that I first used to learn how to shoot in manual, learn how to use natural light, how to compose my photos and in general just a way to be creative when I was fresh out of high school and interested in what photography was. When I used this camera full time I had a kit lens attached to it that came with the camera body, however the kit lens now has a big crack in it that causes the image in that area to appear white and blurry. So I hopped on eBay and found a cheap vintage lens with a Pentax mount to use for this photoshoot instead! On top of using a 14 year old camera that I could barely see through the viewfinder, I also had to manual focus all my photos the best that I could - I was really taking it back to basics here haha
